I had been contemplating making Real Estate my profession for many years, until I finally took the steps to become an agent. I had always loved working with people, and was confident that my personal traits and skills coupled with my enjoyment for law and Real Estate investments would make me successful in this profession.
Background:
I have lived in many countries, grew up in France, and moved to the United States 7 years ago, settling directly in Boise. In France, I graduated from High school with a degree in Economics and Social Sciences. Upon graduation, I attended Political Science and Law School at the university of Aix En Provence.
When I moved to Boise, I attended Boise State University for 2 years and graduated with honors with a degree in Languages and Communication. I worked for Hewlett Packard through out my college years in order to pay for my schooling and travel back to France regularly. I worked at HP for 4 years.
Other activities, passtimes etc..
I am a member of Team Tamarack as a triathlete, along with my husband Kevin who now races professionally.
I enjoy cross country and down hill skiing in the winter, Mountain biking, cycling, swimming and running in the summer.
I speak French and English fluently, and can also hold a conversation in Spanish.
I live in the Northend area of Boise, which I really enjoy.
My multicultural background makes me patient, attentive and a great listener. I am able to work with all new USA residents, no matter how good their language skills are.

Hortense was a fast and honest agent throughout the process of finding our house. She e-mailed me new listings very quickly and made herself available each time we wanted to visit a house. The lists of houses she gave us were always in the criteria that we were looking for. It was the first time we bought a house and she was simply perfect for us. She was reassuring, patient, and gave considerable help during all the paper work! Thank you again. G&T Emonnot.
Such a Creative Agent! Hortense has some secret tricks to beat the competition on a house. The offer we made on our Bench house was $3,000 lower than another buyer's, but we still got the house! She could not have done a better job in understanding our needs, finding us a good fit and closing the deal. Hortie, we love our house! Thank you so much. G&C Saget.

"We enjoyed working with you tremendously - you always were prepared for the house visits and you helped me ask the important questions when we visited the offices for condos. Sellers seemed to have respect for you and I always felt confident we were in good hands. Your reactions to listings and prices helped us make our decisions. Suggestions for houses fit our criteria. During the closing, you were professional. After the sale, you gave us valuable info about handymen and contractors. Your sense of humor is a definite asset. We look forward to working with you as we plan to purchase a condo downtown. Barbara McNeil and Harold Miller
